Simone Biles has shared details about a frightening incident that happened during her final months in Chicago. The Olympic gold medalist said three masked men broke into her home and stole her Porsche GTS. She recently opened up about the incident while discussing plans to get another car.

Biles discussed the incident in a TikTok “get ready with me” video shared on September 21. While going through her glam routine, she explained why she was considering another vehicle.

“I feel like I need a new car because during our last few months in Chicago, three men in masks came to our house and stole my Porsche. Stole the GTS,” Biles said.

She did not disclose the exact date of the break-in or provide additional details about how the men entered the property. Instead, she described the incident as a “story for another time” and asked fans whether they wanted to hear more about what happened.

The gymnast also confirmed that her Porsche GTS was eventually recovered. Depending on the model and specifications, new Porsche GTS vehicles can cost from about $95,000 to more than $200,000.

A New Car Could Be Next

Biles did not say exactly when she purchased the stolen vehicle. However, she shared photos of a white Porsche on her Instagram Stories in 2024.

After recovering the car, Biles said she was still planning to shop for another vehicle. She also found some humor in the unusual events surrounding her life, joking that she needs a “reality TV show.”

“The things that happen to me are absolutely insanity,” she said. “It’d be really easy for producers to just film regularly.”

The break-in also led Biles and her husband, Jonathan Owens, to take additional security measures. Biles said, “That is one of the reasons why we also got our Doberman.”

Biles and Owens Prepare for Indianapolis

The incident happened during the couple’s time in Chicago. Biles and Owens moved out of their rented home in February following the end of the Chicago Bears’ 2025 NFL season.

Owens later signed a one-year contract with the Indianapolis Colts. Meanwhile, Biles has spent much of her time at the couple’s home base in Spring, Texas, a custom-built lakefront property worth millions of dollars that they moved into earlier this year.

Biles told People in a September 8 interview that the couple would not remain long-distance for long. “I’ve been in Houston most of the time, so I’m going to officially move there [to Indianapolis] a little bit later. So I haven’t experienced too much, but the stadium is stunning. It’s beautiful,” she said.

With the move to Indianapolis approaching, Biles is preparing for another change in her life. Her recovered Porsche remains part of the unusual Chicago chapter, while her plans to shop for another car suggest that a new vehicle may soon join her collection.
